Do you guys think it would work out and would the fans want to see them.
What do u guys think?

 | No, I don´t think it would work out, in fact it would be horrible IMO.
Harper is a good musician, he made a very nice album with Edie Brickell and will have his first solo album come out sometime this year.
James is only interested in spending money and acts like a fool (saw some TV specials of him in Germany)

I am pretty sure this has nothing to do with his childhood concert appearances, hyped by his father and mother. ;-)
Today James is a Nobody, and not the singer and star, which his parents tried to make him. That could hurt. |

 | I think Harper already pays fantastic tribute to his Dad by performing with him.
In 2002 he joined Paul on stage for ´The Boxer´ at the Liverpool Summer Pops concert, and it was brilliant to see him performing with the band & Guests on the new Gershwin DVD.
I have also read (perhaps in Rolling Stone?) that whilst he is enormously proud of his Dad, he is uncomfortable with associative references to him in the media. He stikes me as being kinda shy.
I´ve never heard of him covering any of Pauls songs either, unlike Ben Taylor for example, who covers his pa´s work routinely (and brilliantly I hasten to add). |

 | But there will be harm done Scaaty three or five years down the track if his father just lets him do whatever he wants like that Scaaty. I don´t know if you saw that German documentary, but giving a 17 year Old kid a penthouse of his own overlooking Central Park and letting him treat his Filipino maid like crap? Kids with money need even more discipline if anything I think. |

 | Wow! I´ve never seen that documentary. It sounds shocking. At least Paul´s children, whilst obviously living very comfortable lives,do seem to be utilising their time with artistic endeavors. |

 | Oh you should look it up, it´s hilarious actually. You´ll find it if you do a search on the forum for James Garfunkel or else on youtube |
