- no not that one. Did S&G play another BIG Central Park show in the early seventies? Friends say they were there, and I´d Love to find out more about it.
Cheers

Hi Moza

My name is Nick from Widnes Englad, the town where Paul Simon wrote part of Homeward Bound. You ask about a concert Simon and Garfunkel might have done in the early 70´s in New York´s Central Park.

Good news if you buy the book "The Definative Biography Paul Simon" by Laura Jackson ISBN 0 7499 2343 1 Published 2002 you will find the answer.

I think you can get the book via Piatus website http://www.piatkus.co.uk

There is a black and white photograph of Paul Simon complete with his mustache taken in 1975 during an open air concert in New York´s Central Park. Paul joined other artists to celebrate the end of the acursed Vietnam War.

Not shure if Art Garfunkel was on the same bill. Do check out the photo. Hope you can get the book.
