Thank you for the setlist! It sounds perfect. The solos are a great idea. I´m getting really really excited about Sunday!

For Emily. I wonder when was the last time they sang that song?

"For Emily"..is a very beautiful song, only saw on youtube..think it was in the 60s show. It will be cool to see Paul on his 12-string for this song. :-)

By the way, the "unknown song" in the middle of Mrs Robinson was "Not Fade Away". Not sure if that is how they always do it these days.

It was a great show last night (13 June), but I´m not sure how Art´s voice is going to survive this tour.

Cheers

Thanks

I also do not understand why he played Graceland songs at this show - but maybe because he was not on tour down under since 1991... so there might be a lot of PS solo fans too at the shows.

Please post your review in the live section on this page then. Thanks.

Bodo

Reading the review Nikky posted in another thread it seems a good idea to put some Graceland songs in the show, quoting the review: "Paul Simon then gave the show a touch of Graceland along with some much-needed energy and fun. Me And Julio Down By The Schoolyard got the crowd moving before Boy in the Bubble and Diamonds On The Soles Of Her Shoes, complete with six-part harmonies and African isicathamiya, brought the house down."

Well, the Graceland songs were fantastic. It mixed the show up a bit and livened the crowd up after the dead rabbit song. Paul never toured NZ with these songs, and hasn´t been here since 1983 with S&G, so hearing these was a complete Surprise, and wonderful to hear. Moza. I never thought I´d see either of these guys since playing to New Zealand fans did not seem to be of interest to them. I´m very glad to be proved wrong - finally :)

Hi Nick from England here. As Simon and Garfunkel have altered the set list and started including extra solo sections can we have a new DVD.

I hope so as fans will no doubt be very interested in a live new DVD. I would be interested in an official Down Under Version of the DVD.

I already have the original recorded at New York´s Madison Square Gardens on DVD. To get the Down Under DVD would Bookends the collection.

Also i understand that its not the same full band as last Simon and Garfunkel Tour so the arrangements might be slightly different.

If we keep fingers crossed who knows we might get the DVD.

Should we get a new Live DVD and or CD set what do you all think

A question - do they have the same stage design this time?

If I remember correctly, in one of the youtube clips Artie mentioned the "Simon and Garfunkel tree" on the stage... So I guess the stage design is the same.
But I really hope for a new DVD. Has anyone checked Dime ? Apparently that site is blocked in Thailand...

Hi Kuno,

>Has anyone checked Dime ? Apparently that site is blocked in Thailand..

Nothing has been shared on DIME so far from this "S&G in Asia" tour.

Hi Bodo, the stage design looks exactly the same as 2003/2004. Designed by Patrick Woodroffe.
