 | Re One Trick Pony I have a copy on VHS taken off the TV here in The UK BBC 1 showed the film a few years back and also UK Channel 5 showed the film.
Its a good film with the sound track being the best part. I thoufght very auto biographfull on Paul´s life. Imagine if Paul did not get the tape that sporned the Graceland journey to South Africa and his carer ended like Johnah´s in the movie.
So marks out of 10 for the fim One Trick Pony 8/10

 | In parts it is very autobiographical, but I except the music biography of Jonah and Paul Simon from that.
Paul had only written many many hit´s and grammy albums until OTP.
OTP was his first failure.
Jonah had only 1 hit.
I would say even without Graceland, Paul Simon would be a widely known artist today, someone like James Taylor....
Some could even say, that Graceland was Paul´s One Trick Pony album. Because today people only want him to play the songs from this album.
