Yesterday I decided to blow the dust of my record player (turntable) and listen to a few LPs (vinyls). After treating myself to the Paul Simon Songbook - a pristine copy I found in an Old second record shop a couple of years, I then went to make a comparison with my original LP of Simon and Garfunkels Greatest Hits. Now here´s the question:- At the beginning of the Feelin´ Groovy song something is said and the audience laugh - can any one know what it was? I think it was Artie talking.

Artie whispers "I can make it" right before they sing that high "whoo."

Yeah that sound sright, thanks barb. I hadn´t posted a question mark so people might have thought it was an just anti S&G tirade.

Heard it just a minute ago, sounds like "Why" or "Wide" "our country". I think it is not veryfiable.

By the way when I compare the photos of Paul Simon on the cover of Bookends and the two on Greatest Hits "S&G" could be interpreted as "Somebody and Garfunkel"...

Which reminds me on the true fact that a million selling Collection of them was released officially by CBS (Columbia Europe) showing two other people walking at the sea strand.

While Garfunkel is desperately trying to keep his looking Simon`s hair fashion shows a variety like his music.

Now he says "who`s gonna Love you when your hair is gone"... Great!

Hi Klausi, that was ´The Simon and Garfunkel Collection from 1982´ that I bought in 1983 and I always thought that cover was suspicious. It´s apparently a couple of look-alikes (and I use that term cautiously) photographed on the Welsh coast somewhere. I thought it was fake when I was 16 because the ´Paul´ character is carrying a 12 string guitar, which while Paul does play one occasionally,he is certainly not well known for! there cd many inconsistencies with that one picture! I could write a paper on it:-))
