Hello all,
My name is Adrian Suh, from Korea.
It´s been a long time(10yr?) when I first join this site, but it might be my first post in hear. Anyhow, always appreciate Bodo and all.

Do you know what S&G wanted to represent their stage on central park in 1981? Some of you may know that those stage design was used most of all their re-union concert early 80s.

I think that I already saw this discussion or information some years before, but my brian has insufficient memory problem. :-)

Thanks,
Adrian

Hi Adrian, the stage at Central Park 81 was meant to represent a classic NYC rooftop scene I believe. On the European tour in 82,they appeared to have some of the same props on the stage as was seen at Central Park. I have photos of the gig at the Hippodrome D´autueil in Paris and at Wembley,London where you can see the water tower etc. From the photos I have of the Japanese shows, and the show I saw in Australia, the prop was merely a painted backdrop of the NYC skyline, albeit,a very large one. I don´t know if that helps or not...

Thanks, Ian. Very helpful, at the same time, I wrote this question to Korean PS Fan Site(eventhough I´m a representative site manager...), and got an answer, includes "Funky Urban Rooftop Setting".

I never realised what the wooden tower like structure was until I visited New York last year. Many older buildings have them - they are water towers!

Hello Adrian

Yes, you are really a long time member - I see the date is somewhen in 2002 (click on your name), so 10 years is maybe too much :)

But you made me curious, about the age of this site now. You know, time hurrys on, and I forget such things very fast.

How Old is "The neck of my guitar" site?
Well: The earliest date i can find is when I registered the name http://www.paulsimon.at.tf which was the formerly domain before I bought http://www.paul-simon.info
The registration date: 2001-April-19

So in about 16 days this site turns 8 years old.

Hello Bodo,
It´s difficult to remember when I first saw your site, before I joined this site, I might be an un-subscribed guest member.

Why don´t we have some celebrations for 8yrs Old "The Neck of My Guitar"?
