Hi all

I asked these questions in several threads but never got an answer. So I decided to start a new thread...(there is no way now to ignore me ;o))

Two questions:
Does anybody have the CP 91 show on DVD (transferred from either VHS or laserdisc) ?

If yes, is there a way to share it with me/us ? I would really like to have this show, even if the quality is not better than on VHS. Maybe it´s even possible to mix the audio from the CD with that video... I would like to give it a try, I just need that damn video in digital format :o)

Any help would be appreciated, thanks anyway

Hi Kuno,I couldn´t figure why you wouldn´t just buy a copy of the VHS tape and transfer it DVD yourself-that is until I saw how much new copies of it are selling for at Amazon! $75!! Certainly,I can dub my VHS copy onto DVD for you,no problem. I think trying to apply the superior CD sound would be problematic for several reasons. Firstly,there would be synch issues-the videotape and Compact Disc are slightly different edits of the concert,with longer audience sections between songs etc,and Secondly,not all the songs from the CD are included on the video version. First,I´ll send you a straight copy of the concert and while you are enjoying that,I´d like to try and do a track by track version with the CD sound applied. As I said,each track would probably have to be separated into individual clips for the most part,although sections of several songs at a time may be possible. My copy is PAL too,Klausi. Ignore the American or Norway flags I´m flying,I´m Australian. My copy admittedly has been well watched. He we both send a copy,he can pick the least worn I guess:-)

The Coast is miising from the Laserdisc so a good VHS would be a more complete place to start.

I have the VHS (there´s no Cecilia on the VHS) and I Love to have the thing on DVD. Now that OTP is released, I guess CP ´91 will follow.

There´s no hurry though. CP ´91 is only the best live recording ever made.
