 | Ignoring price and availability, where is the best place to sit to enjoy a concert in theater of about 2500-3000 venue. Lower balcony? orchestra? side, center ? And why.

 | I think 7th row mid-center, there is the sound very good and you have a good view at the whole stage. You can still see the expressions of the artists face which is also important for me. |

 | To hear everything is the most important for me. So sit not left nor right. And possibly near the audio-mixer. |

 | What is an audio mixer? Would it be on the stage? I have not been in an orchestra seat yet, but wonder whether since the seating is below stage level you would be looking up all night? I also like aisle seats but that would put me off to one side of the middle.. |

 | Audio mixer - I guess Andras means the soundboard, the place where the sound engineers sit. (so far behind, in the last rows usually...? maybe the sound is great there, but you will not see a lot)
I agree with Ans about the best place - although I also Love to stand in the first row.
If I only get seats in the back (row 30 ), then I would prefer something on the aisle - you see much more there, and no tall person can sit in front of you. And if you can not see the stage, I am sure it also will not sound that good.
And if you sit in the orchestra and this is below stage, then be sure you sit not in the first row. Row 7 would be fine then I guess, you don“t have to look up there. |
