Hi Paul,no,I´ve never heard of it or seen it,but if you have audio, then it must have taken place and maybe someone somewhere will have it on videotape. Good luck.

OK.
My thoughts are: someone recorded it as an audio, cause in those days there weren´t any video recorders. The only hope is that the Sesame Street company would sell a special DVD in the near future.

Well here in Australia, the ABC[Australian Broadcasting Commission] played daily repeats of 70´s Sesame Street episodes even into the nineties, gradually phasing them out for newer episodes eventually. There might still be a chance a videotape exists.

What an awesome video! Thanks so much for the link Paul. Is Ellgee on this forum?

Also, what documentary are those 90s snippets from?? I keep seeing them these days on youtube and it looks like an awesome interview. Does anyone have a complete copy?

Nikki, it´s from the doc named "Paul Simon Solo Omnibus". You can ask Ian, cause he is the nearest person to you ;)
I spoke to Ellgee the other day and he has lot´s of TV stuff with PS. Seems to me he is too busy, but undoubtedly he makes excellent Simon passages on youtube. I recommend you his utube page! I´ve met him on the AG forum.
Cheers, Paul

It´s been some time since I´ve watched that doco, but that song I´ve always remembered since the first time I heard it. Didn´t the interviewer say to Paul something like ´You´re not a particularly good at writing hack songs´ or something similar? A pretty unfair thing to say, considering Paul´s age when he wrote it. As I said,I can attest to it´s catchiness,so it can´t be too poorly written, musically anyroad. Nikki, did you end up getting that guitar from Ebay?
