I know they were performed in Brooklyn last year but now in the Beacon, in the heart of NYC.

Hello Ans, I just wanted to post the videos, too. Look at them, before they are gone, because youtube is fast with removing these things these days.

Looks like a really wonderful night with a lot of guests.

Apparently there was no "official" filming of this show. Someone in the AG forum wrote that there were no visible cameras. I just hope that there will be at least an audio recording on dime in a few days...

Ans - maybe I am wrong - but Paul did not sing these songs last year, or did he somewhen else?

Because I guess this is the first time in 10 or more years that he sings Bernadette and Satin summer nights (I only know this TV special where he sings them). I have never heard of any public show where he himself sung Satin summer nights. Maybe I forgot some special show - anyway, it is worth a lot to hear these rare songs.

Just great. What I always wanted - he should go on tour with Frankie and sing more of these Capeman songs. Well this band would be great for a few other solo songs too like Loves Me Like A Rock, Gone at last, a new version of Under African Skies, Late In The Evening...She Moves On. Well, female background singers allways enrich the songs a lot IMO.

I can only find Paul And Art doing SOS. They both sound and look great, and the audience sounds very enthusiastic.

You are not wrong Bodo :)
I didn´t mean those two particular songs but the Capeman songs in general. That Paul sings them now in The Beacon with Frankie & The Vampires is just great, I Love your idea of Paul touring and doing more songs with them.

Ian, if you type Paul Simon Beacon Theatre you should be able to see all 4 video´s, I still can.

One other thing, those who have a youtube account, it would be great if you give the video´s a 5 star rating, especially those from Paul solo...;-)

Yes, looked like a special night. Great !! I am happy that they sang Bernadette. Looking forward to comments by those who were there !!

But is it me or we have seen better in terms of voices harmony between S&G ? On SofS, Garfunkel seems to force too hard on the highs.

To conclude, what the hell Paul was wearing ? This H&B cover look ? But that was the early 1980 Paul !
