 | Making a top 40 "Hit" doesn´t necessarily mean much. If you look at the No 1´s (British Charts) Art Garfunkel has had 3 (in the ´70´s), Paul Simon solo has had none. Who now knows Bright Eyes compared to Still Crazy, Kodachrome, 50 ways etc?
Others who have never had No 1´s? - Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohan, Tom Waits, Joni Mitchell, Johnny Cash.
Who have had numerous No 1s? - Donny Osmond, Westlife, George Michael, Take That, Bay City Rollers:)!,
