 | The moronic comments left by those idiots proves my point,I think, about these Los Lobos/Heidi Berg stories being more damaging to Paul´s reputation than most believe. One called Paul ´a thief´ outright. It makes me want to puke. |

 | People who respond to these reports are very often total fruit cakes. I don´t think Paul´s reputation has suffered in any significant way. There will always be people who want to savage any great artist - luckily most of us don´t pay any attention to such hate mongering. |

 | It looks like an attack from one person "Anonymous" who is not very smart.

 | If these people are like the folks, that usually post on the newspaper forums on the austrian sites, than you better don´t pay any attention to it. Sometimes it is really frustrating, how many stupid people out there think, that their opinion is of any value. |

 | ...as George Carlin said:
"Think of how stupid the average person is and then realize that half of them are stupider than that..."
I am just happy that Paul is playing again... can´t wait for the bootleg :o) |

 | Hi Nancy,Ans,Mimi,I take your points about these hateful comments being nothing to be overly concerned about. If I´m totally honest,I guess I should grow a thicker skin, but the thought that Paul himself might hear of,or read these comments really concerns me. What is this ´Brooklyn Vegan´ site by the way? I haven´t had a good look around the site, but it doesn´t seem to have much to do with animal free foodstuffs,or is it just a catchy(and perplexing!) name for a website? |

 | Hey Ian, I doubt that Paul reads stuff like that. If you are famous you have no chance of controlling what is written about you and most people don´t care if it is true or hurtfull, what they say.
There is a reason why a lot of these forums are moderated, because you can´t let everbody post what they want. |

 | Sorry folks...I think at 1st sight the price range for tickets is too high.
Although he is legendary, the man has not had a Top 40 hits since 1980 and his last 3 albums were commercial disappointments. So...
Let´s wait and see...if Paul makes it a special event with a special setlist...maybe. If it is only to serve the same setlist as last year Europe Tour, for me, it is not worth the price. This is not the Graceland Tour. There is a limit in paying $280 for "Outrageous" live.
But on the whole, I am happy and proud that he makes The Beacon for this grand reopening !! Kudos Paul ! |
