 | I think this poll is at best silly at worst down right insulting. As far as I am aware Paul Simon is not a bigamist, so at particular time he is married to only one person - for 15 years it has been Edie. She cannot be the "best" or the "worst" wife as she is his only wife as he is her only husband.

 | Not been on for a while, mostly because mnothing much has struck me to wish to say much.
But this one REALLY caught my eye Scatty. And I couldn´t agree more!
One thing that has erked me for some time is this comparing Edie to either Peggy or most notably Carrie Fisher.
Well, guys Paul was married to Carrie for less than a year. To Peg, as I remember, about 5 or 6 and it was rocky. It was rocky when they were expecting Harper.
Peolple seem to look at Paul´s relationship with Carrie with rose tinted glasses as if they should never have split. Forgetting that almost their entire relationship was marred with clashes of one sort or another. It was far from perfect. They were too different.
Paul´s marriage to Edie, on the other hand, has been different, from what we have seen.
They´ve been together for around 18 years and married for 15 of those. They have three children together and when seen together seem very happy and talk affectionately of one another.
As Scatty has said. Paul is married to Edie. He´s not married to Peggy nor Carrie. Those marriages didn´t work, for whatever reasone that was.
So please, who ever set up this poll, get a grip and leave Edie alone to enjoy her life with Paul and their children. |

 | You´re right Scaaty, the poll about Paul´s wife is stupid, and even more the spelling-mistake! There are more poll´s which are not necessary, some don´t add that much (are a bit silly) and some are almost the same. And the spelling-mistakes are also annoying. I hope someday Bodo has the time to do something about it. |

That´s what I mean, a poll should have more meaning than "Who has the better hairdo" or "Who´s cuter" or "Are you taller than Paul" (ofcourse most people here are taller than Paul).
I would also like to ask to read the polls before posting a new one, now there are 2 polls about What is Paul remembered for and 2 polls about Making an album with Edie. Let´s keep the quality here...
