Does anyone know WHY Paul choose to support autism awarness back in 2005 w/ Jerry Seinfeld. Has someone in his family been personally touched by the disorder? Extreamly curious as my daughter is autistic. That´s why I´v been offline so long, she kept getting into stuff she should´t have. I´v missed you all.

Hi Reika, welcome back to the forum and I hope you and yours are coping.

As far as I know he hasn`t had any personal experience of autism, except that he is widely seen as a champion for children`s health anyway.

If I remember correctly Jerry Seinfeld asked him to help, and, being the wonderful man he is he was more than happy to oblige. I think Jerry had some friends who were touched by autism.

If I can´t see Paul in concert in Alaska, maybe he´ll come for autism, would´t that be fabulous?!Also thanks for your encouragement Mr. BB shes actually a LOT of fun. she keeps getting into all the hospitals "patient info" when we´re online and understandably they were QUITE upset.but shes was only 4 so what could i do but go offline, (she´s gonna fix mommys credit when she´s 10 haha) I really did miss chatting with all of you, its been a couple years lots of new people it looks like, and yet still all of pauls fans are thoughful and considerate.Quit going to one peter gabriel site because they were somewhat rude and not open to newcomers. glad to see nothings changed here.

That`s a nice story Reika, bless her little heart. It would also seem I`m a new one for you to chat with too!!!

Saddened by what you say about the Peter Gabriel site. It would appear then that his fans don`t have the humanity the man himself has.

I went to see him a couple of weeks ago, and I have to say even Biko didn`t seem to stir these people, until the end of the song when Peter says `what happens next is up to you. I know we all Love the music and the man behind it but you would hope that some of their good would brush off.

By and large this seems true of Paul`s fans, but I bite my tongue. There were a couple of very selfish people at the Wembley gig last November.

Anyway I digress. You look after yourself and that little bundle of joy. God bless.
