 | Hi all...I´ve never had the opportunity to go to New York but will be doing so soon...
I´m very interested in visiting those places where art, music, and poetry seemed to come together (Greenwich maybe?)
It seems that Paul was also prone to be at these places also...
So, I ask where do you recommend I visit??
(Also, where might I visit that I could see Paul)?
Had to ask since I´m going to NY. |

 | Have a good trip Michael.
New York is on my wish list. There are lot´s of places to visit as part of a Paul´s pilgrimage...:)like Brill building, Bleeker Street, Central Park, Manny´s musicstore etc. The chance of meeting Paul is very small as he lives in Connecticut these days. |

 | Thanks Ans.
Those places are all on my list. Does he still have an office in the Brill Building?
I was also thinking about checking out some recording studios if possible...
Thanks for the info. |

 | Yes, his office is still in the Brill building.
I don´t know if there are still recording studio´s, maybe a few, the music factory was closed a few years ago. |

 | I would walk across the 59th street bridge. Maybe talk to a lamppost... |

 | and, may be, you can go and have a look on the Dakota Building, near Central Park, where he lived before moving to Connecticut ! |

 | PS lived in the Dakota? I know John Lennon used to live there (I believe Yoko still does), but I though PS lived on another building overlooking the Park.
Also, if you go to Greenwich Village in NYC, I recommend bringing a map because it is quite a maze of little streets, unlike most of the rest of Manhattan which has a grid pattern. I used to live there and tourists would routinely get lost or turned around. |

 | I believe Paul Simon lived in the San Remo building, 2 blocks north of the Dakota Building? |
