 | Got the new compilation today. I think from all the compilation albums this is the best buy. A very good song content, although I miss a few favorites...;-)
I´m glad this Sweeny sisters skit made it on the album, it´s much better than the other one where they sing at the elderly home. Although it was funny to see Paul with Robin Williams as "Old Friends" there.

| At JPC, Germany, "The Essential" is still not available out of Germany. They cancelled August 17 and offer it now for much money as Import from Japan, available September 5. (both versions).
I got mine as US-Import long ago from them. Why now Japan instead of US, I don`t know. Maybe because the DVD is not region-free. |

| You can buy The Essential compilation in the Netherlands at the Free record shop, I just saw a very nice commercial on the dutch tv, never thought this would happen, especially from Free record shop, seems it get´s more quality these days...;-) |

| Dutch people were always more open-minded and free than Germans. They are also more interested in anglo-american than in French or German music and culture.
I`m glad to live only about 10 miles away. I got "Surprise" there long before it was sold in Germany. |

 | I also saw a commercial for Essential here in Denmark. Very great commercial... the speaker called Paul "one of the greatest singers ever". You can´t imagine how I agreed with him :) |
