 | Hi Bodo, like most I bought that documentary on VHS in 1992/93. Is it available commercially on DVD in Europe or the U.S.? I don´t think you can even get it brand new on VHS anymore in this country, which is a real shame as it is an excellent doco and my tape has seen better days. Let us hope that Warner Video will see fit to releasing not only the BATRT documentary, but also ´Concert In The Park´ and ´One Trick Pony´ on DVD. M.T.V. unplugged would be nice too,and the Muppet Show, and PS on Saturday Night Live and..... |

 | Along those lines -- It´s too bad Simon and Garfunkel did not have the wherewithall to tape a concert in it´s entirety in the late 60s. Such a release now on DVD would indeed be a hot item.
Thinking of this, I wonder if when filming concert footage for Songs of America in ´69 on on the BOTW tour they filmed any shows in their entirety, or if they just filmed clips. It´s technically possible that one of the shows from the Bridge tour was taped in its entirety, just never released, I suppose. |
