 | Of course it is. I only used it as an example of Paul´s early work, which despite it´s brilliance,I just can´t see Paul in 2007 deciding to dust it off and add it to his setlist,no matter how much we might desire it. We are indeed lucky that Paul plays any S&G material these days, because as far back as 1986 Paul was quoted in Rolling Stone magazine, that of all his songs from the sixties,it was songs like Homeward Bound that annoyed him the most.Obviously he has softened on his opinion every now and then, but recently he has been down on the sixties again hence My statement that after the release of his most progressive work to date, great songs like Cloudy or Poem...Underground Wall probably won´t get a look in. Actually Jocke, there is not a PS song I don´t like. |

 | Jocke, go to your nearest Irish bar - get them to play a few Irish ballads and I guarantee ther will be at least one song with similar lyrics and melody as Rose of Aberdeen.
But please please don´t ask for another S&G tour - there is still the remainder of the Surprise tour to do. and after Paul has had a rest maybe he might feel like doing another album - no time to waste on what was in the past. |

 | Well Paul was long disparaging of Iam a Rock, yet there it was in the 2000 YTO Live video, trimmed a bit, and given a much chunkier sound, better than ever.... so you never know. Whilst biding time for "Poem" to appear in concert, you could listen to the nice S+G version on the 1967 Live from New York City album, and then Pauls solo demo, put as a bonus cut on the re mastered Parsley Sage album |
