 | Thanks, guys. It was a lot of fun to see those clips. I have the audio of "BECITR" but had never seen it. Fun to see Edie and Paul together, and I always Love Willie. I wish that 60th birthday video was availbable. I am kind of surprised that it isn´t. |

| I am certain I heard on the radio a while back that WILLIE NELSON LOVES PAUL SIMON´S WORK and plans to do a cover album with all of Paul´s songs.
I´ve searched a lot to find something but found nothing, has anyone else heard this?
Anyway, I´m a big Willie Nelson fan. I like his spanish feeling guitar sound and cool songs. One of my highlights was getting to meet him after a show by his bus called the Honey Suckle Rose. He seemed shy and reserved, but polite, similar to what I´ve heard about paul.
Anyway, I like hearing Kinky Friedman recount his stories about riding around with Willie on his bus. He said that they would mostly sit at the Chess table and play and talk. Kinky would write his mystery novels there and looked to Willie for influence when creating the characters. Kinky is always smoking a big cigar and he said Willie was often smoking big things too, but other things.
If anyones knows if that rumor is credible please do share. |
