During Slip Slidin´ Away at CP,when they sing the line ´and I know a father who had a son´,Paul makes a gesture to someone(Artie too) just offstage. Was Harper prerent that evening? Was this an obvious nod to The Obvious Child,or am I reading too much into it?

Merci Natacha,it must have been an incredible experience for a young boy to look out at that ocean of people that night, and even more so for his ´famous daddy´.

I especially like Late In The Evening, Still crazy (...), The Boxer with the funny moment between Paul and Artie. And I also Love the way Paul was looking at Harper. And Artie too.
And what about the strange, thrilling moment during The late great Jhonny Ace?

It must be over twenty years since ilast played or watched this set, but i did so again last night for the purpose of this thread. Surprisigly, i found the best track to be,Arties sublime rendition of "April Come She Will" -only a fragment of a song, yet he seemed to make it hang and linger in the night air. A great performance.
2. Old Friends , almost hear a pin drop in front of near half a million people.
3. Slip Slidin Away.

I agree, Mr Beerbelly, but it´s really incredible: that guy had decided to jump on the stage exactely in the moment in witch PS was singing about Lennon. It was the first time he has sung that song. Probably that guy would like just to speak with Paul, but anyway it was a really thrilling moment while Paul was singing those words about Lennon.

Does anyone remember when the guy jumped on the stage during THE LATE GREAT JOHNNY ACE? He appeared during the part when Simon sings about hearing of Lennon´s death. S&G didn´t come back onstage for awhile after that, yet it was a beautiful day, a great concert, and the crowd was so friendly.
