They need to do a South Park episode with an animated Simon & Garfunkel. I know they did one in a Simpsons episode.....
Yeah Mr.Beerbelly, that´s a classic! Just like Chocolate Salty Balls!

My first LP was -
Nick Kamen - I promised myself, and after I got it I listened about 3 times to the song, and till today never to the full LP :-)
A little bit later I bought Roxettes album Joyride.

I bought about 4 singles in my life...dont ask me why... I think they are a waste of money. If I remeber correct 1 single cd cost around 9 Euros back in that time...thats unbelievable how much the music industry earned in the good Old time :-) (it is good they have a rest now)

how much does a single cd cost today?

It´s about $15-20 Canadian. The Concert in Central Park from 1991 was $35!

Hi Callista, I`m sure I`ve seen on the net somewhere S&G as South Park characters but I can`t find it right now. In the meantime, however, here`s a link to some song parodies from the show. There are three S&G parodies two of which are based on The Sound of Silence.

It might be a good page for Bodo to consider for excessive fans. Something where we could post references to Paul made in other mediums of pop culture. I`ve already got a list for The Simpsons and Family Guy!

Never one to let anything go, but I found this link while looking for the elusive S&G a la South Park. You can try and make your own characters. Paul is better to do than Art.

Mr. Beerbelly thank you so much! That South Park create a character was great! I will have fun with that one! (Imagine a Keith Richards character....scary I know...)
As for the song lyrics, I can honestly say I have never seen Paul´s music interpreted that way before. I can´t decide whether to laugh or be sick in an airline bag.

South Park - Elton John is quite good to do too. Billy Joel not so easy.

Family Guy - very funny scene when Peter leaves S&G over artistic differences.

Hi guys!
My first self-purchased CD was Sounds Of Silence (S&G), and at the same time I also bought Paul Simon´s Concert In The Park. My last buy was Hearts And Bones (original CD, with no remastering or bonus tracks)
