Thanks Mr. Beerbelly.

Reminds me on the two categories in One-trick pony of dead Rockers (plane crashes and drugs).

Fact is, that even death can guarantee long fame, maybe more than staying alive.

Not Elvis Presley is the best example, he really did enough to remain famous. But did Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, Jim Morrison? Maybe.

James Dean (two or three 50`s movies) surely not.

I wish Eva Cassidy had seen their success years after her death.

No problem Klausi. And thank you for reminding me of one of my favourite scenes from One Trick Pony. I may have to watch the film tonight now.

Mr Beerbelly,One Trick Pony is a great film.I have several ex rental video tapes of the movie,as well as an excellent dvd copy taped off pay TV but is it commercially available in England or Europe on DVD?That would surely be something to treasure, especially in widescreen with 5.1 surround. Here´s hoping...

Hi Ian, I`ve searched for a copy of One Trick Pony but have never found it. I recorded mine off of the telly some years ago on VHS; this was before DVD was even heard of.

I hold my breath in eager anticipation that Warner will release it. I`m sure Paul must have done interviews to promote it, may be even a live performance as well as possible extras.

Thanks Mr Beerbelly,if Warner U.K.does release, then It´s almost certain that Warner Australia will follow suite as I know they adhere to the U.K. schedule not the U.S.as we both use PAL not NTSC. I Love the musical performances in the film. There is a different mix of Jonah in the film with a harmonica solo that is really lovely.I have always thought it might be Toots Thielmans.Do You know for sure?Sorry, always asking something.
