 | yeah, that is an unforgivable oversight, but nothing surprises me anymore with regards to PS being overlooked by the critics etc who put these lists together. He truly is a fine vocalist with one of the most immediately recognizable voices on this earth, and most certainly deserved to be there. |

 | Hold on.........BOB DYLAN??????
This is a joke right? I mean the guy can write some great songs, I am not arguing that, but let´s face it, the man CAN´T SING!!!!!!!
Paul Simon on the other hand can. Edie herself said that one of the reasons she fell for him was the sound of his voice.
Paul does not have greatest voice in the world, (I mean compared to someone like Pavarotti for example.) but he DOES have a smooth and gentle voice. I think it should have made the top 100!
Those people are nuts.......Bob Dylan.....why not Joe Cocker as well??? |

 | It was a joke. I bought Q and was devastated Paul wasn`t there. If I`m honest, I thought Art would have made it at least. Aside from Mr Dylan, there were others like Tom Waits and Mick Jagger.
One of my favourite statements to make about Paul is that I could listen to his voice for hours. As much as I like Dylan and host of others in that list I couldn`t do the same with them.
Perhaps if Paul`s voice got weaker as he got older or if he couldn`t carry a blasted note in a bucket like most of those 100 listers then he`d have made it.
I have been in touch with Q, but have heard nothing back. There`s a Surprise.

 | Callista and Berrbelly are right.
Bob Dylan cannot sing in the traditional way. As Leonard Cohen. They both were limited and even had to care for that in their songwriting, I`m sure.
The fact that Paul Simon is not mentioned should not irritate his fans. For me, his singing and (learned!) phraising is great.
And I am glad, that this ability is still there. If you hear him talk in the 70`s or 80`s, one had to fear that his vulnerable voice would be gone soon.
As Joni Mtchell`s voice now, which once was outstanding. |

 | I have also written to Q - they had advertised let the arguments begin - i stated there could be no argument it was obviously just an oversight on their part. |
