 | Along with the honour this organization added 25 records to its meanwhile 225 classic records catalogue of all time, one of it is the album "Graceland".
It seems to be a collection of a big variety of styles.
Maybe too "big".
Along with Graceland 16 records from earlier than 1963 are elected plus f.e. "Be My Baby", a girls group song by the Ronettes from 1963 (=Kitsch), "We shall overcome", the traditional obligatory protest song, here by Pete Seeger, "Satisfaction" by the Stones, "Velvet Underground and Nico" (1967), the predecessor of Punk/New Wave, "86 years of Eubie Blake", a Ragtime musician, "Burnin`" by Bob Marley and the Wailers. |
