I do realize that this is Paul´s site. I would delete my last comment if I knew how. I didn´t mean it to be sarcastic, but the article did reference the possibility of future S and G work. I don´t think you have to hate Art to be a Paul fan. I understand, however, that this site should be devoted to Paul.

Well, I can only speak for myself, I don´t hate AG. But what I cannot understand is why he wants to work again with Paul, his musical interest is so different, I can understand that he likes to cherish the S&G days but that is what he should do, cherish the Old days but go on with his own life and own career. Don´t live in the past.
And that he always plays it via the media upsets me. To put pressure on Paul this way is not fair.

Here we like to talk about Paul Simon´s solo career, I understand that the S&G fans like both S&G music and Paul´s solo music. But a lot of fans here like Paul´s solo music more than S&G music, well this gives friction once in a while...;-)

Okay, these are copied from Beerbelly´s article:

"Of course they´re interested in those hits. I worked very hard to build up that kind of interest. My whole life is charmed by having done those five albums with Mr Simon and being a treasure to many people for a lifetime´s worth."

"Do I have a plan to work with Mr Simon again? No. Is there a possibility of more recorded music with Simon and Garfunkel? Yes, I suppose there is a possibility.

I pasted these for one reason only.....MR. SIMON????
lol, is he kidding? He actually refers to Paul like that? Seems kind of a cold way to refer to your "Old friend" eh Artie?

Okay, one more post from Art´s interview....this is a good one:

"I don´t know if there´s a possibility of me making more music. If this album isn´t successful, I don´t know if people deserve another," he says.

I laughed myself sick when I read that part about "deserving another"!!
Come on Artie, who isn´t always in the mood for good elevator music!!!

I agree with Ans. I think playing like that with the press is not really fair. Paul has always said in all the interviews in the last years that he is not interested in another S&G Record. Art should know that. But if he talks about the possibility of a reunion he gets more attention from the press (and there are already headlights that they might work on another album together).

I am pretty sure, that Art is aware of the fact, that the chances are not very high for a real cooperation. Maybe some charity concerts here and there but I doubt, that there will be much more. So its unfair for those, who would Love to see them working together and its unfair to those, who don´t like that prospect and I think it´s unfair to put so much pressure on Paul.

Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear. Maybe I`ve reason to believe my meaning has been lost and misconstrued. I`m not an Art fan, I posted this article because of the numerous Paul references, but I shall heed the comments and follow Callista`s example and copy the relevant passages in future.

Now I have to go hire a pressure washer to remove the taint of having been called an Art fan.
