My granfather and my granmother died for a time a go:( and on the funeral a band play and sing Bridge Over Troubled Water..but in swedish. it was very beautiful but very very sad. it mean´s a lot to me that paul wrote that song. my family And I are very blesst for that song, and bridge have helpt os ver much. so thank you paul. |

 | Thank you for sharing. This is very touching.
There was a small article a few months ago is a newspaper from somewhere in the middle west in the US about a local poet who had passed away. According to the article, as he lay dying in the hospital his three sons surrounded the bed and sang Paul Simon´s "America" to him, because it was his favorite song. I found this quite touching, too. I couldn´t post a link, or I would have posted it on this site. |
