| I am also 13 and he is definitely my favorite. When I first heard "You Can Call Me Al" at 12, I was mesmerized by those simple opening chords and that amazing voice. I quickly became "addicted" to his music. He still appeals to a portion of the younger crowd (I think the youngest on this site is 8). Most young people have heard "You Can Call Me Al" and liked it but not known who sang it. Almost no one at school but the teachers have heard of him. All the adults say "I thought only adults listened to him!!" and that gets annoying. But hey, I´m spreading the word. |

I totally agree with Peter, i recently did a presentation on P.S. and The Teacher was shocked! (in a good way though.)Practically none of the students in my year have heard of Paul but i think most know Simon & Garfunkel. They know the tunes but not the names sadly :( i only *completely* fell in Love with paul after we went to see his concert in november 06 :) which was too amazing for words... |

Never mind. Still have the others I mentioned, so don´t know what to do about them.
Seems a shame, but they will probably end up in the bin.
I can´t play them, and they take up shelf room. So....away.
I´m sure, in twenty years time, I will end up doing the same with the DVDs!! :-)) |

Matthew, send your address to [email protected] and I will send you the tapes. If you pay me the postage you can have the tapes for free on the condition that, if you have the technology some how, you manage to get useable MP3 recordings of Sound of Silence from the San Sebastian concert and of the Tower concert in Philly. And then email me the MP3´s. Of all the stuff on the tapes, that is the only thing I would really like to have! Deal or No Deal?
So I´ll send you the highlights tapes, the San Sebastian concert, OTP and Live at the Tower. |
