 | Is anyone haveing problems with the dialogue boxes opening and closing and returning back to the home page. Its very difficult to read any posts as the dialogue box widens and narrows all the time. This is happening on my laptop at home and in work, and also on my desktop in work. The only constant is that they are all Macs. This has been happening for a few months now. Any ideas anyone |

 | I experienced the same problems.
Always thought it´s my computer that doesn´t work as well as earlier. From time to time it does other strange things too, you know... but for those things I definitely have to blame my PC.
The window problem on this site is not a very big problem for me as I open every (forum) window in a new tab. This way it works better for me. |

 | If I use the links at the bottom of the home page the problem disappears, thank goodness, because its got really bad and was making my visits to the site unbearable. And i can´t have that! |

 | Hehe - nothing is wrong with mac! ;-) I´m sure you mean "find out which error that only the macs recognize that causes this"...
Anyway, I´m on a Mac, and yes, I have the same problem. It began some months ago, I think.
Happy new years to you Bodo, BTW. |

 | hi - Sorry for the delay but it took some time until I have enough spare time to look what is wrong.
As this problem appears especially on MAC computers I think I will just make some changes for them. (The only problem is, I do not have a MAC, so I can not test the changes. I will need your feedback if it works, and this will maybe result in a long process....)
I will let you know when I made some changes, and then please tell me if everything is better now...or even more worse :-) |

 | Hi Bodo, no real improvement on dialogue boxes - thats OK - I prefer the layout from the tabs at the bottom of the page. However, there are no links from one section to the other. ie to get back to the home page from the forum you have to keep pressing the backwards button which means revisiting all the lovely conversations:) which can be quite time consumming. |

 | Hi Scaaty
You do not have to go back (at least not from all pages)
On most pages you will find that:
http://www.paul-simon.info
-------------------
The neck of my guitar
and you can click on the http://www.paul-simon.info line to come back to the main page |
