 | We originally thought this UK TV programme was going to be shown in November, but I´ve just read in The Times Culture magazine that it´s on More4 on January 12th and Channel 4 on January 15th. Paul Simon is on the first of the 12 programmes. Go to http://www.channel4.com/more4/shows/a/abbeyroad/in dex.html for more information. |

 | Thanks Sue, if I remember correctly Paul will perform 3 songs, we could see one at Amazon, How Can You Live In The Northeast and now a bit of Slip Slidin´ Away. So still one to Surprise us... |

 | Hi
I think he performed much more songs there (the 2 songs from the paulsimonlive.co.uk site - Wartime Prayers and F&D are also from the Abbey Road show AFAIK) |

 | Yes, if you look further into the Live at Abbey Road website (I think you can click on the artist), you can find which 6 songs he recorded, although it says only 3 will be played on the programme. |

 | This is what I found using the search button. Mike posted it on the german forum nov. 8th.
"Twelve episodes of Channel 4`s `Live From Abbey Road` will be broadcast, each show will feature three acts playing three songs each."
But Paul probably performed more songs and they will only show 3 songs.

 | He played That Was Your Mother, Outrageous and slip slidin´ away (not in that order). he actually recorded for the show: father & daughter, how can you live n the northeast, and wartime rayers as well as the three shown. shmae they didn´t show all of them :(
At the end, there was a cli just after he played That was your mother: "can we record that again? I made a slight mistake in the lyrics... not that anyone listens to my lyrics anyway"... I listen! we listen! |

 | Recorded this (on VHS) the other night when it came on channel 4. I thought it was very good. I liked the way the Paul Simon section was at the start and all together.
It was nice to hear him talk about the band and songs. My favourite perfomance was Slip Slidin´ Away. I thought it was funny when he asked if they were going to record it again and no-one seemed bothered! |
