I went and saw the movie, Bobby tonight (about Robert Kennedy´s assasination), and there near the end they played the whole The Sound of Silence. It was awesome, and they played the Wendsday Morning 3AM version too! It sounded great in the theater.

Just wanted to share my excitement with other people who might care

Oh, and they played Anji too...

Yes, it is a new movie....
I was reading about that movie today.....the writer and director of Bobby, Emilio Estevez, was discussing in a magazine that his father, the actor, Martin Sheen, had taken him as a 7 year Old boy in 1969 to the Ambassador Hotel and tearfully said, "This is where it all happened. This is where the music died." In the year 2000, Estevez found himself in that same hotel lobby and felt inspired. "My whole childhood came back. It was like someone unlocked the padlock to my memories."

Estevez worked on the script for 5 years...a passion for him....

I do plan to see the movie....It sounds inspiring....

I, too, remember those days of JFK and MLK...and Bobby...and wonder what might have been.....

Wow, that sounds like it could be an excellent film. I´ll keep my eye out for that one. Although it´ll probably be next year before we get it here in the UK..

Just saw the film, Bobby, and it is one of the best films I have ever seen...I cried all the way through "Sound of Silence"......

For those of you who lived in America during the 60´s, it´s a wonderful reminder of what might have been...and for those of you youngins´ who have only read of America in the 60´s...see it and get a taste of what was then.....
