After you wrote that I also got an error message when I started a new thread. (but the new thread has been created)

But then it worked for 3 times :-(

Oh, I hate these errors which only appear at 1 out of 10 times.

Who else get´s these ´Warnings´ ?

There must be some recordings of it. There is a clip of the "Mother And Child Reunion" performance on Youtube and there is this video with short parts of some performances. Hopefully it will appear somewhere sometime.

just finished the download.

...what a death boring audience
Paul is playing You Can Call Me Al, everyone is sitting like at a funeral, then he moves the microphone to the audience - but you hear nothing. A SHAME!

Paul - a cartoon in a cartoon graveyard... ?

"...what a death boring audience"

Seems to be a usual BBC One Session audience...

Ok, it could be that they are asked to be quiet and sit... but for me it does not make sence, the atmosphere is very strange when the artist dances around on stage and the audience looks like "What is this fool doing there...?"

There is an interesting comment on Dime of one of the audience. They were asked to sit and PS seemed to be very irritated by the lack of response from the audience. Looks like he was not aware of the fact, that the audience was told to behave that way. Strange....Why do they want an audience when they want them to sit still. Maybe that was the classic department, who produced that show.

Here is the comment, this is very strange, are there no venues in London where they can film Paul and the band with an enthusiastic audience....a stupid decision from the BBC.

The Independent 28 november 2006.

* I was among the invited guests this week at a recording of a BBC concert by Paul Simon at St Luke´s church in east London, now converted into a concert venue. Simon played his full two-hour set to only about 100 of us sitting at tables in front of the stage. But I´m not sure that anyone told him what the set-up was.

After three numbers he stopped and said to the audience: "This is a very strange situation. Who are you? Please, who are you? Did you win a contest or something?"

Nor I suspect had anyone told him that we had been ordered not to stand up and block the cameras. So no one stood or shouted or went mad. "You´re very kind," muttered Paul after one number, "but not kind enough."

It was a sensational show, given an added frisson by the sight of a superstar utterly bewildered.

Thanks Ans... well, blame the BBC for that - it´s clearly visible that the atmosphere is very strange and clinical.

On the other side also Paul and or his management are to blame, seems as if he is just flying from one city to the next without knowing what is really going on, and no one is planing anything.

100 invited guests... how do you get an invitation to something like that?...
