 | Paul knows his audience very well, on the 1991 ROTS interview he talks about his audience and that the songs on his setlist are for people who like to dance and people who like just to listen to his songs, he appreciates them both. I think in London there were too many complains and Paul wanted to symphatize with both sides, that´s why he said about the dancing, maybe later, but I´m glad he didn´t tell me to sit down in Glasgow....;-)
I don´t think it´s a matter of influence in this case, it could be that Paul is invited to play there by the BBC and that they planned it, it was an intimate concert and not planned in the UK tour. Ofcourse he will get paid for it...;-)
