 | got the tickets, printed the the setlist, charging the camera battery - all set to go. Just one dilemma, want to wear the T shirt from the last concert - but that was S&G - and dont want to give the wrong message. Yet if I wore the Tshirt from YTO tour ?means I negleted the last tour. Also there is the fact that the S&G Tshirt is a better quality one. Decisions! decisions!.
Enjoy! every one heading to the Point tomorrow night.

| problem solved by not being able to find either Tshirt.
Concert Brill crowd staid but great once i moved to the front noone between me and paul for the whole encore except stage.
will give full review later

| Hi Scaaty, I look forward to read your review, cool that you got the canoe T shirt, I can´t remember the exact print, I bought the one with the small print, the guitar and Paul Simon´s name written on it, did you wear it during the concert? |

| I do agree with bodo about the middle age cardigan and slipper types who appear to go to Paul Simon concerts. The crowd were I was sitting made no reponses until Cecilia. At which I threw my hands up in despair and muttered a war like prayer.
When they finally stood before the encores I was able to sneak out, abandoning the dearly beloved and made my way up to the front. security made no attempt to stop me. only concerned about me using the flash on the camera.
BTW whats the idea of giving Paul the mobile?

During "You Can Call Me Al" Paul is singin into the cellphones (well, and if you call someone and give Paul the phone....)
Anyway, this idea was born somewhen in 2000 I guess, and in 2002 a lot of people knew about that (in Berlin Paul got about 4 cellphones)

| I was thinking maybe you can record with your cell phone er mobile and that was quick thinking (& dexterity) on your part:-)

| Does anyone know the reason for the canoe on the t-shirt? I bought the blue one with Paul Simon in white handwriting, and the first four lines of Once Upon A Time There Was An Ocean. I got it from Manchester and there was nothing on the back. When I went to Birmingham, they had UK and Ireland Tour 2006 on the back and all the places he´d been to! I went to complain that mine had nothing on the back (I was wearing it at the time) and they let me change it (in the toilets of course)! I don´t know who they sold my ´Old´ one to? :-) |

| would have loved that one!! There was nothing on the back of any of the teeshirts. I liked that one you got but black is not my colour:-(
i thought maybe the canoe is relating back to YTO which has a native american theme and also in keeping with the water theme in Surprise |
