 | Presumably no one´s got Birmingham Ticketmaster tickets yet. Tried to get through to customer services this morning by phone but couldn´t get through. Anyone heard anything? |

 | Yeah i think you should stop worrying, it´s not your problem it´s Ticketmaster´s.
If they mess it up then they´re going to have a riot on their hands. |

 | I´m concerned too Simon. I also just tried phoning, using 0161 numbers rather than 0870, but I was still getting a recording. So, you actually spoke to someone in person, did you? |

 | Yes - got through to someone who seemed to be mouthing the stock ´tickets are still being printed´ response, but than had this e-mail through, which is the most reassuring communication I´ve had from them yet. "Your tickets will be dispatched today via 1st class post. If you do not receive your tickets 48 hours prior to the event please feel free to contact us again and we can arrange for some duplicate tickets to be collected from the box office on the day of the event." I´ll believe it when they are in my hands though! |

 | well, maybe the day will come when you have to buy the tickets from Paul Simon in person at his home, just to be sure you will ever get them.
This all is very strange IMO. |

 | I think the reasoning ` whatever the excuses about tickets not being printed, which I don´t anyone seriously believes ` is that if they send them out close to the event it stops tickets being sold on ebay. But then if the venue is sending out tickets weeks or even months ahead of the concert what´s the point? It just creates anxiety for those people who have stumped up money for tickets legitimately, and that doesn´t seem right. I shall certainly never buy tickets off Ticketmaster again, and hopefully everyone who has been messed about by them over this will feel the same and act accordingly. |

 | I have just noticed that I now have a new message on my Ticketmaster account. It now says: "If there are any problems with your order, or you don´t receive your tickets within 2 business days of the event, please contact customer service." For weeks it´s been saying ´the tickets have been purchased and are waiting to be printed´. A friend spoke with them today and was told "if the tickets don`t arrive call on Friday and let us know and we´ll mark the tickets for collectionâ?¦ As long as you have your confirmation number and card available there won`t be a problemâ?¦" There´s going to be a big queue if we all have to wait for tickets at the NEC.....They´ll arrive tomorrow morning, you´ll see!

 | If you read ticketmasters FAQ it says that it must be the original card holder who booked the tickets. It was my husband who booked and he´s not coming ! |

 | Just spoke to Ticketmaster customer services - again. Said tickets were only printed yesterday (!) and were being dispatched first class - not recorded or special, which, you would have thought, would have been the least they could do given the aggro they have caused ` and the hefty ´booking fees´ involved. Said to call again if they haven´t arrived by Friday and they´ll arrange for collection, but if that´s the case tickets won´t be available until an hour before the event!! Sounds like a recipe for chaos. |

 | Since no one seems to be responding to this thread can I assume that everyone (except me) has got their tickets for Saturday? |

 | Not got mine Rick, and I don´t think Julie´s got hers. Another friend has received the second pair which I assume she ordered on the same day, but she´s not got her first pair yet. |
