As far as I know the concerts are not sold out by far Ans.
Last Friday you could even buy tickets for the London concert in row, central front block A4! (I found 13 tickets, but there could have been even much more in that sector)

And other people had to pay 100 Pounds for row 11 or 17 on ebay...

I´m soooo tempted. But my three kids are on expensive schools. At the other hand, I can´t believe they are studying...

Was this by ticketmaster? Do they have the same stupid selling system as they have here in the Netherlands, here they sell at pre sale the middle price tickets first and at the end you can buy first row tickets, how stupid is that!

Yeah, I know, our 2 sons are also expensive because they are studying. Our trip was not too expensive because of Ryanair and the cheap train tickets, they were half the price to promote using the Prestwick airport. Also Glasgow was not so expensive as we thought it would be.

>I asked two people midfront if >they were you and Julie, they >were not..., they only found out >that they had the best seats of >the house when they were led >there, they had a great time, >too bad it wasn´t you and Julie.

That is really annoying, my friend who had booked the tickets was told he was the first one to ring and we had got the centre front seats. When we got there we found we were front row at the side. We complained and got seats with a better view but further towards the back.

Yes, that is the system...

In reality there is really no way to get good tickets expect to have luck, or to buy them on ebay.

I remember 4 years ago in Munich I was the first person who called for tickets, and I got 1th row, but on the outermost right side.
During the concert I talked to a 60 year Old woman who was sitting in the middle front row how she got the ticket - she answered: Oh, I did not know that I got soo good tickets, I bought them on Friday (concert was on Monday...I bought my tickets 4 months ago)

I hate that system... Paul should only play non seated arenas.

I thought the Glasgow gig was terrific. ´Duncan´, ´The Only Living Boy In New York´ and the incomparable ´Train In The Distance´ were welcome surprises. Never been to a gig before with 4 encores! The main problem was the hordes of latecomers - preumably they couldn´t tear themselves away from the bar - pouring in during the first 8-9 numbers, distracting for those of us who didn´t want to miss a note, but must have been very iritating for Paul. Nevertheless I enjoyed it hugely, even though I wish I´d brought my binoculars!

Hi Andy,

I got to the concert just as he was playing Slip Sliding Away. Can you tell me what songs I missed before that please?

Hi Bodo,

I´m confused by your posting if it is intended for me. I am just trying to find out if anyone knows what songs Paul played at Glasgow up to Slip Sliding Away.

Thanks in anticipation.

Ian
