 | I´m sure I have a video of Paul on the Parkinson show - and it´s not 31 years Old! But he may have only been the musical guest, and not actually interviewed - I can´t remember. Tomorrow´s listing says ´Tonight, veteran actor Michael Caine joins Parky for a chat about his new film The Prestige, singer Tony Bennett who recently celebrated his 80th birthday promotes his new album and legendary singer/songwriter Paul Simon performs during his UK tour´ Must remember to record it! I´ll be in Manchester at the concert. |

| Well I am really annoyed. In the papers it said that Michael would be talking to Paul about his tour. All Paul did was perform FAD. Mike spent almost 40 minutes talking to Sir Michael Cain and the rest speak to Tony Bennet about being flippin 80....grrrr

i also just watched the show, obviously after i got back from the concert like. Just played one song!!!!!! Grrrrc :-(
I wonder why they never spoke? Maybe paul had no time and had to set of for a gig???

| It was just as his previous appearance in 2000 .... just a pre-recorded song.
Was a waste of time watching and wish I´d watched the football instead.
Caine / Bennett were two of the most boring interviews I´ve ever watched.
Roll on Bournemouth on Monday _ the BIC is a fine venue. |

 | Have to agree with the above statements. and I had to go a find somewhere to watch it as I ahve only Irish TV channels (by choice).
However of interest, cos I was using an unfamiliar VCR, I was seating close to the screen to use the controls as Icertainly didn´t want MC or that other chap. and its official: Paul did have some surgery done to his face. There is a definite inch long scar beneath his right (rather extended) earlobe.
Anyways roll on wednesday don´t care how he looks he´s still the best!! |
