I like the picture very much, blue looks great on Paul. Looks as if he has lost some weight...

Yes, blue is definately Paul´s colour... much better than the green blouse, he could have lost some weight but it´s also a matter of a good camera and a professional photographer, no offence for the fan pictures ofcourse, they are made with Love...:)

I posted another article from the concert in New York with a better review of the songs and the band.

I also uploaded a new picture but had to change it from gif to jpg, hope everyone can see it.

Ans, may I ask what software are you using to convert the picture form gif to jpg?
It seems as if it produces a not readable jpg format (is that JPG 2000 ??).
I tried to open the picture with Adobe Photoshop 6.0 and it did not work, the programm said something about a unreadable SOI marker...

I could see the picture with the windows xp viewer and made a screenshot, saved it as jpg and uploaded the new jpg file.

Think that also happened the last time when you uploaded a jpg file you converted before from gif.

The ´home´ site uses a function to make smaller pictures which can be loaded faster, but it can not read these jpg format and produces a lot of warning messages...

Sorry for the trouble I cause you Bodo, I use mozilla firefox, with right click I can save the picture on my computer and change it first to jpg format. The size was 73.4 kb with gif and stays 73.4 kb with jpg.

When I use internet explorer the picture is smaller 37.8 kb

Here is the site I took the picture from. http://www.newsday.com/features/printedition/ny-pa

es-print

But maybe I should use some other programm to save and change the pictures.

Hi Ans

It is strange that the picture has the same size after saving as jpg. That does not make sense - it looks like as if mozilla only changes the file extension.

It is also strange that the use the gif file format on this newsday site. No one is using gif for pictures, since many years now.
