 | Hi
I will be there!
Just bought my ticket yesterday (I´ll never blame ebay now, paid 36 Pounds for a 4th row Block A4 ticket!)
Who else will visit the London concert? I have seen a few entries in the fan-database, but heard about a lot of other people too (Soren, Richard, Porta, someone from Portugal...)
We could make a really big fan-meeting.
I have never been to London before, so my orientation there is zero at the moment.
I am checking where to sleep at the moment, and found a ´Formula1´ hotel in Barking (I know this is far below every standard, but it is cheap and enough for 1 night) Can someone tell me if trains and subways also drive by night to Barking?
But maybe I do not have to sleep, does someone plan to celebrate all night long with me?
So, who else will stay in London, and for how long? I will either fly on Nov 9 or Nov 10 (for only 1 night). Nov 9 would be more save, because the airplane arrives at 3:45 PM, only 4 hours before the concert.

 | Hi Bodo,
I really envy you - if I had known about Paul´s concert before, I wouldn´t have flown over to London to see David Gilmour and saved my money for Paul...But now I can´t afford it anymore :-( I still hope he will come to Germany...If you´re still looking for a hotel, check this website: http://www.hrs.de, it´s where I booked my hotel too. Costed 50 Euro per night which is really cheap for London ;-)
About the subway lines, they don´t run all night so check the timetables before. But IIRC there are buses drivin at night but only between certain stations...Beware, the London subway system is really weird! Took me an eternity to figure out... ;-) |

 | No, my hotel was called "The Blakemore" and it was in Bayswater, not too far away from Kensington Gardens. Nothing special - a rather Old building (well there are lots of old buildings in London) but still nice if you don´t stay longer than one or two days I guess. Compared with our standards it was more like a youth hostel, though ;-) |

 | It´s a pity that you can not come to London this time Miriam.
I got a flight for 2 Cents with Ryanair (so total 48 Euros with the airport fees) ... I do not understand the Ryanair System, but its good to fly for 48 Euros LOL |
