Take a look at the new amazon online shop I made. (MAIN)

If you buy something new from Amazon, i would appreciate if you could buy it via this online shop. A few cent will get as a contribute to this site then.

I´ll try to add all items you are searching for soon.
There is a US and a UK shop, German shop will maybe come too (but German law causes problems, I need to set up a Company to link to amazon.de :-)

This is a very good idea Bodo.

I´m thinking of buying the cd of Terrance Simien. Strange that on the UK shop it´s already available as used (aug 7)and on the USA shop the release date is sept.12, 2006.

Hi Ans

I also did not understand that with the Terrance Simiens CD.
Take a look at the online shop now, it is also available in Germany I found out (select the European German shop)

And on the UK shop they say 4-6 weeks.

I think the best buy is USA shop, not too expensive and if they send it sept. 12 it could be here a week later.

I believe you have a cd of Terrance, do you like it still?

I Love this CD, I have the CD Positively beadhead
(because one of the songs from that CD was played on his site)

The music is pretty like ´That Was Your Mother´ and slower songs.
It is nice to listen to - at a barbecue we had a few weeks ago I played it and everyone or our guests liked it immediately. It was played all the evening then.

Although - you can not expect his CD´s as versatile as a PS album. The music is zydeco all the time, slower, faster, happy or melancoly sometimes a instrumental one.

I heard that song too on his site and liked it.

Thanks for your information, I like Zydeco music, I will order the cd, besides I´m very curious at the song collaboration with Paul.

You used to call me is a song by Clifton Chenier´s (the king of the bajou :-) )

It was Terrance Simiens first hit AFAIK... I wonder what they hade made of this song now.

You have a Region Free player too Klausi?

I think I will have to write a statement somewhere that in the US -shop you only get Region 1 DVD´s, or this could cause some problems. Too sad that it will not be available in Europe, but I guess they think we are not interested in those (US) Kathrina things...

...and this DVD Region problem causes problems over problems.

Normaly on amazon every article get´s a ASIN number, and these numbers are the same in the USA, UK, Germany...
But not for DVD´s, as they have different Regions these are different products. So I have to include them twice into the database, much more work.

Yes Bodo, my player will do it. I have a lot of US VHS and DVD-videos. (NTSC).

Thank you.

I´m sure this DVD will be available soon here too. But why not buy them before?

This region thing is something and nothing. I bought a region-free player years ago and have never worried about it since. Also most PCs now have DVD players and they are all region-free as well.

On the subject of VHS, all new VCRs in the UK have been NTSC compatible for some time.

Well - but what do you want to say when writing that it is ´nothing´ matthew?

At least you have to watch out when you buy a DVD player that it is Region Free - you do - but does your mother?
My DVD player is not region free, but I can type in a code to my remote, then it is region free until I turn the power off again. (you can not expect someone to find out that who is not a technical and internet talent)

Also my dvd player in my PC is not region free. Bought it 2 years ago, thats not that long time ago.

So I would say, this region thing is still nerving customers.

BTW: You can now add your own articles to the shop - if something is missing and should be there. I knew I did not have enough time to include everything, I searched for the most impotant releases first.

BTW: Literally you can include ´everything´ from amazon
;-), and buy it then.
