 | And, what should the management of Paul Simon do with that info?
I blame the management of PS for NOT giving the presale pwd to the real fans!
Next question would be - why does it give presales? Why are some enlighted people allowed to buy better tickets? Should that help the people to earn some money later when they sell the good seats on ebay?
Whatever, the system of selling tickets in the USA is crazy. My opinion. |

 | I agree with you totally. ebay sellers are there to yes make money but also provide a service. if all fans knew it then wouldnt be needed. but you have elitist and selfish peeps who know and dont tell. |

 | It´s been my experience that pre-sales often provide worse seats than the general sale... |

 | I agree Joey.. although that makes it more strange why there is a pre-sale. |

 | BTW, if you want this to be removed, then simply call ebay.
I´ll delete the link to this now, as I this should not be advertised. |

 | the only way to get the best seats for the real fans is to have a will call scenario for the good seats.. this takes the tickets out of the scalpers hands |

 | I don´t understand exactly what a will call scenario is - I guess you mean that they do not release all tickets at the same time..and release the good seats in small charges later?
Maybe they are even working that way, but I think that ticket scalpers have enough time to call ticketmaster 20 times a day and ask for the best seats.
Anyway, I even have the feeling that this is a legal buisness in the USA, isn´t it? There are a lot of companies selling tickets for extreme high prices. |

 | Will call is when you pick the tickets up the day of the show....
Can be inconvienient but if it keeps them out of the hands of the scalpers Id deal with it.

 | Glad you explain that because, like Bodo, I hadn´t understood what you meant by ´will call´ scenario.
I wish it was possible indeed.
BTW, I was happily surprised to read in a local newspaper that when The Rolling Stones came to Nice (at the beginning of August), scalpers didn´t get any offers for the tickets they were selling and had to ´give them away´ for 1/3 of the price they had paid. |

 | Oh, right.. yes thats a will call. You can only pick them up with your own Credit Card and passport then.
Think that could work...at least that is better than ticketmaster starting auctions and selling the tickets to the high bidder dierctly. |

 | as a big u2 fan and getting shut out i used to get stuck paying big bux for tickets(u2 seems to be the most expensive) It has gotten worse over the years.. When I firt started going to shows you used to sleep out for tickets. Now anyone from all over the world can log into ticketmaster so they can scalp them on ebay... I think all the good seats should be will call....

 | Hm, no if you live outside the USA you can only buy tickets by will call - at least this was so for me in 2003 |
