Just saw a listing from http://www.ticketmaster.com that Paul Simon is scheduled for shows in California and Illinois in October.

I meant Atlantic City

So, I wonder when we will get a few more dates in Europe. Strange, the UK dates have been announced more than 2 weeks before now..

Maybe it´s better for those who can afford it to go to the UK.

At the Woyaho site Kenny (guitarist of New Bo´s) mentioned that there will be a few shows of Edie and New Bo´s in October. I guess Paul won´t come to Europe wenn Edie is touring.

I think and hope he will come to some other places in Europe than the UK. (If the UK belongs to Europe).

He was here in 2002 just for fun.

Sure, but now I am not going to Ireland or UK. Tickets are already on sale since 2 weeks, and I do not want to fly so far and then sit somewhere in row 30.
I expect(ed) him to add a few other dates in Europe. I still hope so, but it is strange at the moment.

BTW.: It is still annoying what a flop the official site is. In April!! they announced that soon there will come much more, and you should come back daily to see what they are working on. And now there is LESS than before! Thats a horrible site, even the discography, the videoclips and the lyrisc are gone now. And they are not able to put the new concert dates onto the page BEFORE they appear on ticketmaster.com (I guess they even take their info about new concerts from ticketmaster.com ... )

As far as I can see now, he has a gap of 4 weeks between September 2 and 29 for "holidays" (?), and of 6 days to "celebrate" his birthday.

It makes sense for him to wait until the shows in England are sold out and come to other places in Europe immediately after Nov. 11.

Still enough time to announce the dates.

If not, one can buy good tickets at ebay until shortly before the concerts and make a trip to England, but this alltogether is expensive.

Hm, I do not have the time in Nov. to fly to the UK, just for 1 or 2 concerts. Normaly I would connect that with Holidays of at least 10 days there... So I really hope he will at least come to Germany or northern Italy.

I am surprised that he is doing so many concerts this year (if there will come more dates in Oct. in the USA and more in Nov and Dec in Europe than this tour will become one of his longest since 1991..or 1999)

But when he will wait until the first show in Europe is sold out than he has to wait until Nov 3 I guess, many PS fans still buy there ticket at the office before the show :-) And in 2002 I have only seen 1 sold out show on the continent, that was in Montreux. In the UK he might have sold out shows everywhere.
