 | I read somewhere, that the expanded version of Songs From The Capeman should be available from iTunes, but I just can´t seem to find it. Is it because my iTunes is the european version, and what do I do then, because if I type .com it automaticly goes to the european/danish edition of iTunes. I´ve been following Paul Simon for many years now (and even play in a S&G coverband with a friend) and I go so much into the songs from the Capeman (I know most of you don´t like it that much in comparicy) so I would Love to get a hold of that 2 CD edition. Thanks.... Fingers crossed that Paul Simon will visit Denmark this fall!!! |

| Hi Rasmus (countryman!). I think you might mix up two different things. There is an expanded version of "Songs From The Capeman". It came out with all the other expanded versions. This is available on cd (like all the others) and also on the danish iTunes store. However, what I think you really mean, is the Capeman CAST album, which is indeed a double cd that seems only to be available from the american iTunes store (you can easily view all iTunes stores through iTunes, the application (which is free)). You can not buy from there, unless you have an american credit card. So what can you do? Well, I have it on a bootleg, which I´m not sure is the same as the one made commercially available, but it´s good quality, so if you drop me a mail, I´ll get you a copy: m98ska{at}math.ku.dk |

 | I hope it will be available here, too. It is annoying that with a technology like I-Tunes, where you can download from any place in the world you are dependant on a Creditcard of the right country.
It´s no wonder that people try to get a hold on it through unofficial places. |

| Thanks to my fellow Dane Sà¸ren, I´m now the proud keeper of the cast Capeman album, which in my opinion is a really great dobbel album. Just a question for all you enlightened Simon fans here. Do you know if Paul Simon plays guitar on the cast album? The acoustic guitar parts sound very close to the originals (though of course I know a skilled musician could have played it, it sounds like Paul)
And...did anyone notice that Paul is singing Trailways Bus on the Cast Album (as on the original Capeman Album), though it´s a slightly different version? |

| The song Trailways Bus was deleted from the musical, so the cast did not sing it for the album.
Bill who ´made´ this double bootleg CD has inserted the song on the right position (so it also should not be on the official release...but maybe it is)
Does anyone know what was/is the sense of relesing the Cast album ONLY in the USA and only on ITUNES? I definately never will buy something there, you only get cheap mp3´s or what?
Why don´t they just release that double CD, so that the fans can buy it, hold it in their hand and have a songbook with lyrics... I can not understand that. |
