 | Beth, I hope I will not be sued of stealing copyrighted words from ´Senorita with a necklace of tears´ now ;-) Only jocking.
Very interesting that it took him some seconds to find out it was his own song :-) This song would be a really good live song, Paul alone with his guitar. It is the only song from the YTO album, together with "Quiet", he never played live. |

 | wow the variety of countries is really fantastic Bonnie. To me the international and collective aspect of this idea is the best thing about it and I hope Paul appreciates that too. Thanks again for all your work Bonnie - instead of you congratulating and thanking everyone else it´s us that should be doing so to you! |

 | Thank you all for the kind words. They are very much appreciated.
Simon D - My apologies for failing to respond to you personally via e-mail. An oversight on my part. Yes, I received your greeting for PS and it is in the binder. Thank you.
Bodo - I´m a bit surprised at you. What guarantees are there in this world? But, I must say, I understand your frustration seeing as how you have obviously tried unsuccessfully to receive acknowledgement from PS in the past. Given that history, I´m amazed you continue to give so much time and energy and creativity to this website. But, never give up hope (nor crush anyone else´s). Dreams are good. And kind actions without expectations of acknowledgment or reciprocation are even better! There is no guarantee that PS will receive the greetings. I´m hoping he will. I should have a good idea by about Oct. 10 whether or not he actually received it. I´ll pass along confirmation if I get it. |

 | Hi Bonnie
Well, the answer is simple - I get feedback from you and all other visitors - that is it what makes the work most enjoable.
I think he will receive the package - but I would be very surprised if he or his management would send an answer (or simply "thanks"). But maybe since ´Surprise´ Paul will surprise us with much more things.

 | The package was sent to someone in California who was connected with one of the performance venues who was supposed to deliver it to PS or his management sometime last week, during the California-leg of the tour. I was told the person would deliver it and I know the package arrived in California on time, but haven´t received 100% confirmation that the package was definitely handed to PS or his management. Then again, I haven´t received the package back in the mail either. I´d say there´s a very good chance (80-90%?) PS received it last week, but I´m just not 100% certain. Failing to get confirmation from the contact, I´m going on the assumption that if it is not returned in the mail in the next 2 weeks, PS probably got it last week. |

 | Thank you for your kind words. It was my pleasure to put the gift together. Everyday, I am a little worried through some miscommunication or for some unknown reason, I might see the package returned in the mail, but it´s been 3 weeks without it returned, so I´m breathing a little easier. One of the reviews said someone tried to wish PS a happy birthday earlier this week (less than 7 days past his b-day), and PS said something like "that birthday´s long gone." Thinking our words reached him 1 week PRIOR to his b-day makes me all the happier. Who knows, maybe on his tour in UK or Ireland, he´ll give a shout out to some of our friends from there who wrote and that may give the confirmation we seek.
... If he says hi from stage to any of you, let us know, okay? (As if anyone with that kind of news could be kept quiet!) |
