If you know any concert dates from that period, or you have attended one of the shows in that time, then please post the date, city, stadium in this thread.
I´m trying to complete the tour list for that time period.

Some (partial incomplete) lists can be found here

http://www.thesoundofsimon.tk/

Let me know which concerts you attended.

I only know 3 sites listing concert dats - thesoundofsimon, the S&G FAQ, and the dreamerofmusic (AFAICR)
But they all have the same lists, I guess most of the time the FAQ was used as a source.

The early PS tours 1973-1976 are incomplete in most parts...and I wonder if no one has any lists...Old magazines,T-shirts or whatever with the dates on it.

These dates are mainly from Newspaper articles of that time:

S&G: 28.4.1970 Copenhagen K.B. Hall

P.S. 6. May 1973 Boston, Music Hall (opening date of the tour)
7 and 8. June 1973 London, Royal Albert Hall

December 8, 1975 Manchester, Palace
December 11,12 and 13, 1975, London, Hammersmith Odeon

Early December 1975 the concert "Simply Simon" was filmed in England, only a few hundred visitors, shown worldwide.

January 19, 1977: Simon sang at Jimmy Carter`s Inauguration as President(American Tune).

December 21, 1979 Concord Hotel, New York, for One-trick pony.

Simon sang in Germany for the first time on October 21, 1980, Munich, Olympiahalle, October 24, 1980, Hamburg CCH, November 1, 1980 Frankfurt, Jahrhunderthalle.

He told an interviewer he had visited Germany when in Europe 1964/65, but did not sing "officially".

"But if I ever get back to the 20.th century, guess I´ll have to pay off some debts. Open the book of my vanishing memory, with its catalogue of regrets." -

One little correction to your list:

The concert on June 29, 1991 "Entenwerder Halbinsel" (near Hamburg/Bremen at the sea) was cancelled because of bad weather.

The tickets were paid back or -if wanted- valid for the next German concert in Dortmund on July 4 (I was there), not sold out so far, and this was a mess. They did not expect so many fans driving so far.

It was a hot day in July and the Westfalenhalle with its 15.000 plus capacity was "exploding". They had moved the stage more to the middle and many fans had problems to see anything.

Perhaps you can hear me, because the live-version of "Still crazy" on the 1964/1993-album was recorded there. Which somehow (chosen out of 150 shows) is a nice memory for me.

Thanks for that info Klausi. I´ll post a review to that show saying it has been canceled...or I make a extra field somewhere.
Also this year a show has been cancelled, and I have to find a solution for that problem (someone already posted a review, so I am not going to delete it now)

I have that live version from the 64/93 collection. Thats really funny, I also have visited 2 shows which later got a live release on the ´On my way´ collection (Madison Square Garden 1999, and Montreux 2002)

BTW, the people from the Montreux Jazz festival have excellent live recordings off all shows, and they want to release them on CD. But I think Paul has something against that...or we have to wait for many years :-(

Bodo, I´ve a newspaper article reporting a S&G concert in Dublin in 1981, would you be interested in that? I´d have to scan it as it would be too large to copy out - might be too large to scan as well?

Hi Scaaty, can you check that again please? I am sure it is 1982,
S&G played in Dublin on June 15, 1982. It would Surprise me if they have played in Ireland an extra show in 1981, as the CP81 reunion show was in 1981.
