I could kind of read it. It talked about her meeting Paul, and I think it called him half-legged : )

I copied it and enlarged it, enhanced it, etc. It looks like "I met Paul Simon, now I have a new friend. Gettin´ him ( easily busy half legged Man (?) ) to carry my picture in his wallet."

I think I´m rather wrong, I could only enhance it so far. Sadly my computer is not from the CSI lab and I´m not Gil Grisom...lol

Marie why didn´t you post what it said? *eye´s roll*

I have a better picture

It is written:

Dear Donna
Hi! Tourin is kinda fun. - kinda also very lonesome & weird. Motel covers are stanky. The east coast cities are sure nuff, pretty though. (countryside that is) We´ve played 5 shows now & I´m read to come HOME. I´m a homegirl.
Oh! I met Paul Simon. Now I have a new goal: Gettin´ him (the eensy-beensy 1/2 legged man) to carry ´round a picture of me in his wallet. [(smiley) dream on.]
Oh well, it doesn´t hurt to torture myself with stupid schoolgirl daydreams that only consume my bodys energy for every single one of my wakin & off-times resting hours. Damn I´m a flake

[on the side upwards]
I hope youre doin goooood (heart)
u chickenrabitt (smiley) Edie

END
I hope everything is right. I have to look up some words like "nuff" and "Damn I´m a flake", because I do not understand that right.

I wonder why someone is selling that... not friends anymore?

think Nov 18, 1988

send from Richmond, VA

It surprises me that everything can be read so easy...Edies handwriting is so clear, and also the poststamp. On 18 year Old postcards I normaly can not read everything so good.

Do you think Paul would be pleased if we weare T-shirts with "I´m your biggest fan, you eensy-beensy 1/2 legged men" on it?

Could become a hype :-)
