Thanks for finding that Ans.

I am not really sure what that is - a 7" 45-rpm lp ? This is more a collectors item, than a real radio-single release I guess?

But I Love ´Thats me´ !

BTW, was Outrageous now ever released as a single? Have never seen any cover pictures or anything else...

Yes, all Vinyl-releases are for special fans.

Many people think, the sound of a Vinyl album/single is better than from a CD, which with the appropiate equipment might be possible. Because "digital" means only the way between the microphone and the output from speakers, both not digital.

The information mentions that Surprise is certified Gold in the Uk = 100.000 plus, which is quite a low limit.

Gold just means it has sold somewhere between that number and the next boundary for platinum. It may have even exceeded the amount for Platinum (500,000 in UK) but they only issue the awards periodically.

The 7" single is a normal Old-fashioned single. They are issuing a limited edition 7" picture disc so one to look out for.

This is the second single, the first was Father & Daughter - so Outrageous has not been released.

I suspect this release is driven by the record company and it will be interesting to see if That´s Me makes it onto the set of the current tour.

UK Platinum is 300.000. Maybe he will match it.

I pray for that (Thats me on the setlist)

But I somehow have the feeling that most of the songs from the new album are too complicated and need weeks of rehearsal until they sound acceptable live. Paul played so many different guitars, and mixed them all together in studio. Thats why Tony has to play e-guitar parts on Outrageous I guess... and when he played Wartime Players 2 years he could not play it properly. That may be the reason why he only plays 4 songs from the new album. It is easier to add songs like Late In The Evening or Bridge, the band already knows them since many years now.

I know I´m probably crazy but I had to order the 7 in. vinyl. My oldest son has a really cool juke box in his family room and I´m going to send it to him.

Very, very strange choice for a single, IMO.

That is a fantastic idea suzi... i wish i would have a juke box.... hope your son is satisfied with a PS single ;-)

For me ´Thats me´ is the perfect song from that album... it has these strange guitar lick, like Outrageous (or Once upons sound), then this wonderfull bridge, and a powerfull pulsing finish. Thats Paul

Is a 7" the same as a 45 (rpm)?
