My dog is eleven years Old and it seems he likes Paul Simon`s music. Normally dogs and other animals don`t like noise at all. He still can hear quite well if he wants to.

He does not try to find a place behind the speakers or outside, he just likes it. But I must confess, I didn`t make experiments with other music, I´m not a biologist.

Paul Simon wrote "Mother And Child Reunion" as reaction to his dog`s dead, the title came from a meal in a chinese restaurant.

Maybe when my dog is dead and I am still alive, I`ll sing this song for him.

I am a biologist...but I don´t have a dog! And this song has a most strange "motivational reason" I ever heard, the way Paul reflected about and the kind of associations he did...But I like the song, just like your dog...
Birds like Loreena Mckennit, at least it was what someone told me, once...

Sometimes when I sing some Simon´s song, my dog seems to appreciate them all. Mother and child too...

But, excuse me Lara (and Paul Simon), I think he likes them because YOU are singing them!
