 | Attended a few concerts now and I have to say that the Liverpool crowd were by far the best audience I´ve ever been amongst. |

 | Yes, I´m disappointed he´s not going to Liverpool - that was one of the best. But happy to be seeing him in Manchester and Birmingham. |

 | Cool - I will be going to Manchester and Birmingham as well if I can get tickets. I would go to London too but I am in Poland that day.
Does any know the Europena dates as it would be good to see him in Paris or Rome as well. |

 | Just looked at that link and noticed the venues. As I predicted some months ago, he is going to bigger venues than the last two solo tours.
This is because Surprise has been such a big hit in the UK - after all the British are the biggest Paul Simon fans anywhere in the world.
It will also make it slightly easier to buy tickets. I saw Paul Simon in the NEC in 1991 and I thought the sound was good. |

 | My first concert to PS was in ´81 ( the tickets were £11 but got sold out immediately. the week before the concert I was offered a ticket for £15 - my salary a month was £300 - my rent £20 a week. I lay awake at night worrying about spending all that money on a concert ticket...it seems so trival now ... and the memory lives on.... and no regrets .. so go for it:-) |

 | It was an S&G concert but it was also the 1st time I saw PS and I changed from an S&G fan to a PS fan because of that concert.
Reason for mix up in dates - the concert was just after my finals, but I actually finished college the year before - I keep forgetting to allow for the in-service training year - so I´m always saying I qualified in ´81 instead of ´82:-) - hence the concert in ´81 |
