That´s the plaque I was speaking of Richard. Paul said he´d never seen it because someone keeps pinching it...lol

As for the Art thing and the tour. The arrangements were pretty much the same as they were on the albums, as I remeber, and that was predominently all Art and Roy. In comparison toPaul´s solo work the S&G work is very lush, much like Arts own work.

And I don´t remember Art singing background on anything. He has as much of the Mic as Paul did.

But as you quite rightly said "That´s your opinion and I can respect that."

I felt esp at the show iwas at that Paul was the star, both in quality of music and singing. I also felt he put Artie down a lot which wasn´t very niceof him and I said that in the review i did. As the "bigger" person he should be more gracious to his former partner.

I would presume the reason Art only sang background vocals on "The Only Living Boy In New York" was that the studio recording was made that way too.

As for saying that Paul (on "Kathys Song") "stole the song from Art by his guitar playing" sounds just as irrelevant as Paul´s claim that "Art stole ´Bridge Over Troubled Water´" from Paul. What should Art do? Sing less than perfectly? What should Paul have done? Played guitar out of tune? That´s just silly...

I think they compromised a lot on the OF tour. They certainly didn´t want to upset each other I am pretty sure. I think that they worked their dialogue out with each other and agreed on what to say and do. I can´t imagine that they would have survived the tour as friends if they hadn´t been willing to work together for the good of the show...and each other.

Does it really matter as to who sang what and who played what? This irrelevant debate long after Simon AND Garfunkel stopped performing together is verging on ridiculous.

Kathy´s Song - Great song and there are MANY great versons floating around. Eva Cassidy´s is SENSATIONAL. I think Paul´s is the most painful version and is an interpretation of the song. Art´s in the OF tour was good too. More loving.
