Perhaps I´m missing something, as this could have been discussed here before. I´m new to the forum.

Check out these photos, which were both taken during the Old Friends tour.

BTW-I saw Paul for the first time in Cleveland last month and the show was awsome...

Yes, he did. Sometimes he wears it in his own concerts and sometimes not. He often jokes about bringing or not bringing his hair.

I was at his concert in Munich, and he said something about: "when I was out there (backstage) thinking about what to say in Munich tonight - putting on the hair piece - I was...

I think he once said that he wears it beceause it´s part of his image...

Well lets face it, you think Art Garfunkel, you think voice and you think hair. They go to together like peaches and creme, like...well...Simon & Garfunkel...lol

Ah trust me girls, I have no intention of starting such a thing. It is mearly an observation with regards to the press who insist on mentioning either Arties voice or hair. Especially when they describe they guy.

Eaqually well, Paul´s hight will come in when the press talk about him. You know "The diminutive...blah" and any other word they use, when they could so easily use the simple word...small...lol

small, smurf, hobbit, dwarf, wrinkled baby...all so funny ):

and I really thinks it´s cool that Art can joke about his hair (or lack of same)...
and people would be disappointed if he only brought the voice but forgot the hair!

In ther German biography I read that a newspaper described Paul as "Dauerpennäler"...

And I think it´s good that Art can joke about his wig, he doesn´t need plastic surgery like eg. Michael Jackson...

The papers need something to write about. So either way you do it, you can only do it wrong. They are writing about the ones who try to do something to look younger and they are writing about the ones, who do not hide that they are not 20 anymore. If you want to avoid it, you can only die young...
